POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sound Technician to join our team and work on some of the biggest events in the Northern Territory.
Dreamedia Events is a leader in technology and creativity production in the Northern Territory. We are fortunate to provide the technical equipment and expertise to a huge array of events from Festivals, Live Performances, Conferences, Product Launches, Gala Dinners, Exhibitions and much more.
You must be motivated, friendly, and have a passion for delivering incredible events all around the Northern Territory. This position includes using the full range of our assets, system servicing, maintenance scheduling, operating live shows, and storage and retrieval to ensure audio equipment in and out of the warehouse.
This role primary focus is to operate sound equipment for pre-production, prepping and loading in shows, rehearsals, performances, recordings, and de-rigging of events.
General Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Relevant Experience
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team and autonomously, to deliver outstanding results.
- Direct experience in operating various mixing consoles e.g. Digico, Midas, Yamaha
- – Outgoing and enthusiastic with a friendly personality and passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Demonstrated audio and AV expertise
- Understand how to solve a problem mid show if a piece of technology doesn’t deliver.
- Show enthusiasm and initiative.
- Pride in appearance and professional personal presentation.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly, work well under pressure and demonstrated judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety
- Previous experience in a relevant role will be highly regarded.
- Legal working rights in Australia.
- Valid and current driver’s license (desirable).
